主要学术成果:
(1) 在电子探针分析技术方面成果卓著,特别是在超轻元素、稀土元素、微量元素和挥发组分方面测试技术方面有深厚造诣。尤其是近几年,建立了“地学界电子探针分析技术平台(网站)”,带领中国地学电子探针界同行,推动分析技术进步,整体水平显著提高,基本与国际同行接轨。并起到了与国外同行进行学术交流的桥梁和纽带作用,使中国探针界同行走出国门参加国际会议。
(2) 对华南(桂北地区)多时代花岗岩与成矿研究取得了一些重要成果。通过对桂北地区多时代花岗岩研究,补充完善了前人关于华南中生代(燕山期)大规模成矿作用的观点,认为在加里东期(桂北)就已拉开了序幕,印支期(赣南与桂北)已有一定的矿化规模,到燕山期集中爆发,表现为华南中生代大规模成矿作用。
