中文摘要：沉积学是地球科学领域的重要的学科。本项目拟在沉积学知识体系基础上，通过国际期刊文献的计量分析，揭示国际沉积学科领域的发展趋势和研究热点变化；同时结合国家自然科学基金委员会（NSFC）沉积学与盆地动力学（D0206）三十多年以来的申请与资助情况，统计我国沉积学科研究队伍和主要资助领域，通过与国际沉积学发展轨迹的比较，明确我国沉积学发展的现状，为今后学科发展战略和优先发展方向提供定量依据。
英文摘要：Sedimentology is an important subdiscipline in Geosciences. Based on knowledge system of sedimentology, this project aims to investigate the development tend and the change of key fields in the sedimentology through the bibliometric analysis. We will further find out the distribution of research group and funding areas in sedimentology in China by analysis the data of application and grant proposal from the NSFC (D0206) since 1986. Furthermore, this project will compare the NSFC proposal data with the development trend of sedimentology to clear the research status of sedimentology in China, and provide quantitative basis for the future strategy and priority funding area of sedimentology.
