On January 17, 2025, the Tang Chaosheng Research Group convened its annual work summary meeting in Room 205 of Zhu Gongshan Building. The event was attended by Professor Tang Chaosheng, along with Associate Professors Cheng Qing, Pan Xiaohua, Shen Zhengtao, and Zeng Zhixiong, and all postgraduate students within the group.
During the meeting, postgraduates presented comprehensive summaries of their annual progress and research accomplishments. They outlined plans for the forthcoming year and conveyed their appreciation to the collective efforts of the group. Professor Tang Chaosheng delivered remarks recognizing the dedication of the students and highlighted the group's significant milestones achieved in 2024. These accomplishments include a wealth of published papers, accolades received, successful research initiatives, and advancements in talent development. Prof. Tang expressed high hopes for the students' ongoing research endeavors and inspired them to strive unceasingly toward excellence in scientific exploration.
In recognition of outstanding contributions, the group conferred two distinguished awards following a rigorous evaluation process involving faculty and students. The ACEI Star of 2024 was awarded to Sun Chang, a PhD student from the 2021 cohort. This honor is bestowed annually upon a postgraduate student who has achieved significant research results and made substantial contributions to the group, as determined through a selection process involving all members. Additionally, Zhai Xinwei, a PhD student since 2023, received the Best PPT Award of 2024. This accolade recognizes the most effective presentation delivered at group meetings and during the year-end review, selected by both students and faculty based on clarity, impact, and engagement
Looking ahead, the Tang Chaosheng Research Group is poised to continue its pursuit of excellence with renewed vigor and commitment. The team sets its sights on achieving top-tier objectives and fostering further remarkable success.
